Great weekend for LIL Hudson basketball! Beating LIL Prisco on Saturday afternoon was a great accomplishment. We all know how tough they are and it wasn't that long ago that they beat the LIL Hudson superleague team by 2 in overtime. Going on to beat the CTK team that gave the Hudson Storm so much trouble in an overtime win in the second round of the CYO playoffs was a great way to end the day!
Sunday morning started off with a 9:00 am win over a tough NY Elite team. Great contributions from all of the subs with tough defense and rebounding. The day, the tournament, and the wins came to an end against a bigger, stronger, faster LI Wizards 11u team, but the team hung tough and showed great character by playing hard and sticking together until the final whistle.
